Mystic Forge lands $2.2m investment

Dutch indie publisher Mystic Forge has landed €2 million ($2.2 million) in investment.

As reported by GamesIndustry.biz, this funding round was led by ForsVS and ROM Utrecht Region, and will let the label expand its stable of games. Mystic Forge was founded in 2023 by veterans of Good Shepherd Entertainment Paul Hanraets, Randy Greenback, and Vernon Vrolijk.

"This investment allows us to broaden our portfolio and secure additional titles," Hanraets said.

"While Mystic Forge operates globally, we are also deeply committed to contributing to the gaming ecosystem in Utrecht and Belgium."

ROM Utrecht Region senior investment manager Jeffrey Williams added: "Partnering with Mystic Forge enriches our gaming landscape with their extensive industry expertise and network, thereby strengthening the ecosystem and attracting further investment into the region."
