The First Descendant hits 10m downloads

The newly-released The First Descendant has been downloaded over ten million times.

That's according to the game's official Twitter account, which revealed that the free-to-play shooter has hit this milestone seven days after its release. There's no indication as to whether players are spending money on the game, either.

"We've reached 10 million Descendants in just seven days," Nexon wrote.

"Thank you all for your tremendous support and love. It means everything to us. We will do our best to bring you great experiences. Can't wait to continue this journey together!"

It's not clear how many of these downloads were on PC; the game is out on PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S also. The First Descendant debuted at No.1 on Steam following its release
