Bethesda vet Lachance tapped to head Warner Bros Games Montreal

Former Bethesda studio director Yves Lachance has been hired by Warner Bros.

He has been appointed VP and studio head of the company's Montreal developer. In this new position, Lachance will be reporting into Warner Bros Games SVP of production and studios, Ben Bell.

Lachance previously spent close-to nine years as head of studio for Bethesda in Montreal. Prior to that, he spent over nine years at Behaviour Interactive, leaving as SVP of publishing and strategy partnerships.

“Warner Bros Games’ major franchises and internal game development expertise provide an exceptional foundation on which to develop the next generation of games,” Lachance said.

“I am thrilled to be able to work with the established Montréal team to create memorable games for some of the most impactful entertainment properties of this generation.”

Bell added: “We feel Yves brings an excellent combination of experience and partnership to lead our Montréal studio into its next phase of growth. Yves is extremely familiar with the unique culture and excellent opportunities in Montréal, and we are looking forward to the immersive gaming experiences he and our talented team will build together.”
