Amazon reportedly commissions games anthology TV show

Streaming giant Amazon has reportedly commissioned a new anthology show that is focused on video games.

Deadline reports that the retail firm is set to publish a new adult animated series named Secret Level, with individual episodes set within the worlds of a variety of games. These include Amazon's own MMO New World, roguelike indie hit Spelunky and a variety of PlayStation titles.

It's expected that the TV show is going to be announced at Gamescom's Opening Night Live, which is set to take place on August 20th.

The show is being created in collaboration with Tim Miller of Deadpool fame and his animation firm Blur Studio.
