Control, Wanderstop and Mixtape not impacted by Annapurna meltdown

Some of the developers working with Annapurna Interactive have taken to social media to clarify that their projects have been unaffected by the publisher's implosion.

As reported by GI.biz, Control 2 and the TV and film projects based on Control and Alan Wake are not impacted by news. The comms director of developer Remedy, Thomas Puha, has confirmed on Twitter that all is well with these projects as they are being handled by Annapurna Pictures rather than the Interactive publishing label, as well as the fact that the Finnish firm is self-publishing Control 2.

Meanwhile, Wanderstop maker Davey Wreden has replied to concerns on Twitter that the project was affected.

"Just for the folks asking, we are 100% okay," the dev wrote. "Nothing's gonna stop us from getting Wanderstop out the door very soon."

Mixtape from Beethoven & Dinosaur is also still on the horizon.

"Appreciate all those who reached out. Mixtape continues," the studio wrote on Twitter

Last week, news emerged that the entire Annapurna Interactive team had walked out following a breakdown in negotiations with its parent company to spin the publisher out.
