Trailmakers dev Flashbulb makes layoffs

The maker of Trailmakers Flashbulb Games is laying off staff. 

In a statement to Game Developer, the Danish studio said that it was laying off seven staff. This news came in the wake after work ended on an unannounced project. 

"While this was a tough decision, the majority of the team previously working on that project has been reassigned to Trailmakers, our flagship game," the studio's CEO Christopher Håkonsson said.

"We see great potential in Trailmakers and are excited to accelerate its development and deliver even more for our players and community."

Flashbulb was founded back in 2016. The studio's debut title, vehicle-creation sandbox romp Trailbrakers, which came out in 2019. Two years later the developer launched multiplayer game Rubber Bandits.
