Report: Funko Fusion dev 10:10 cutting staff

UK developer 10:10 Games has reportedly made cuts to staff.

Insider Gaming reports that the studio is making layoffs following the "complete commercial and critical failure" of its debut title, Funko Fusion. That title's poor performance is also credited with making it difficult of 10:10 Games to secure funding for upcoming projects.

Layoffs were apparently “entirely on the needs of the next project” though it appears that no senior or upper management staff are affected by these cuts.

19 members of staff are reportedly impacted by the decision. Workers also told the outlet that they were given severance packages that barely matched the "bare legal minimum".

"Management seemed very keen to wrap up the process quickly, and despite saying that they were fully open to suggestions and feedback, none of it has been taken on board," one source said.

10:10 Games was founded in 2021 by veterans from TT Games.
