Eidos Montréal is cutting 75 jobs

Canadian developer Eidos Montréal is making a round of layoffs. 

In a post on LinkedIn, the studio revealed that it was making 75 members of staff redundant as one of its "mandates" is ending. There's no elaboration as to what that means, but the company adds that this is not a poor reflection on those who have been affected. 

"It is not a reflection of their dedication or skills, but unfortunately, we don’t have the capacity to entirely reallocate them to our other ongoing projects and services.

"These very talented, highly experienced experts are going to enter the employment market, and we are working to support them through this transition.

"Eidos-Montréal stays committed to deliver its other projects currently in development."
