CHARTS: Schedule 1 shoots its way to Steam No.1

Early Access crime title Schedule 1 was the biggest game on Steam last week.

The game launched on March 24th and went straight to the No.1 spot; it is developed by TVGS and is set to stay in Early Access for the next two years. It beat Valve's Counter-Strike 2, which had to settle for second place last week.

The Sims rival Inzoi also made its debut last week and was the third highest grossing game for the week; it looks like a solid start for another Krafton hit. Co-op horror title REPO dropped one spot to fourth week-on-week, but came in ahead of new action RPG The First Berserker: Khazan from Neople. That title is set within the Dungeon Fighter Online franchise which is hugely popular in Asia.

Valve's Steam Deck dropped one spot to sixth while Assassin's Creed Shadows fell five positions to seventh in its second week on sale. Split Fiction from Hazelight and Electronic Arts dropped four spots to eighth.

Similarly, Capcom's Monster Hunter Wilds took ninth place – down three spots – while Apex Legends returned to the charts to round off the Top Ten.

Here is the Steam Top Ten for the week ending April 1st:

1. Schedule 1, TVGS
2. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
3. Inzoi, Krafton
4. REPO, Semiwork
5. The First Bezerker: Khazan, Nexon
6. Steam Deck, Valve
7. Assassin's Creed Shadows, Ubisoft
8. Split Fiction, EA
9. Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom
10. Apex Legends, EA
