CHARTS: RuneScape Dragonwilds debuts at No.2 on Steam

The newly-released RuneScape: Dragonwilds the second highest-grossing game on Steam last week.

The title launched on April 15th and so far has attracted a peak of 52,641 concurrent users, according to data from SteamDB. It's a rare new title from Jagex and so far is doing well for itself.

Counter-Strike 2 was once again the biggest grossing title on Steam for the week, while Schedule 1 is pushed down one position to third on the back of RuneScape: Dragonwild's debut. Steam Deck once again takes the No.4 spot.

Action RPG Last Epoch returns to the Top Ten in fifth place – up 76 positions week-on-week – thanks to the release of its second season of content while co-op horror romp REPO hands steady in sixth.

Marvel Rivals dips four positions to seventh, while Baldur's Gate 3 from Larian rose up one spot thanks to the title's continued discount on Steam.

Command and Conquer spiritual successor Tempest Rising made its debut in tenth place despite technical issues at launch.

Here is the Steam Top Ten for the week ending April 22nd:

1. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
2. RuneScape: Dragonwilds, Jagex
3. Schedule 1, TVGS
4. Steam Deck, Valve
5. Last Epoch, Eleventh Hour
6. REPO
