Police shooter Ready or Not hits 9m sales

Tactical first-person shooter Ready or Not has shifted over nine million copies to date.

That's according to developer Void Interactive, which added that the title is closing in on ten million copies on Steam. Ready or Not launched back in 2021 as an Early Access title; its 1.0 launch came two years later in December 2023.

All nine million-plus sales so far have been on Steam. Ready or Not is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles, as well as the Epic Games Store, in the near future.

"Our flagship tactical shooter Ready or Not is hitting a huge new milestone: We’re officially coming to PlayStation and Xbox this summer," Void Interactive CEO Julio Rodriguez said.

"As we approach ten million units sold on Steam, we’re beyond excited to bring the experience to console players worldwide."

In a post on LinkedIn, Rodriguez added that the company is working on "a couple of unannounced titles". Furthermore, Void Interactive now employs over 70 people. For context, the game started with three or four staff working at the company back in 2017, growing to 30 employees by 2024.
