CHARTS: Anno 117: Pax Romana debuts at No.3 on Steam

The latest entry in the Anno city builder series, 117: Pax Romana, was the third highest grossing game on Steam last week.

The game, from publisher Ubisoft, launched on November 12th, and was only beaten by Counter-Strike 2, which returned to No.1 spot, and Arc Raiders, which dropped to second place week-on-week.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 debuted in fourth place in the wake of its November 14th release. There's no word on how well the game has sold and Activision appears to be pretty vague when discussing the title.

PUBG: Battlegrounds dropped three spots to fifth, while Battlefield 6 fell two places to No.6. Valve's Steam Deck hangs steady in seventh place, coming in ahead of AdHoc's Dispatch, which dropped two spots to eighth.

The 1.0 version of extraction shooter progenitor Escape from Tarkov made its Steam debut in ninth place; the title has been available via its own launcher in closed beta since July 2017. The game has attracted a decent audience, but is known for its steep learning curve and brutal difficulty. It has also just been beaten to market by Arc Raiders, which has sanded some of the more ragged edges off the extraction shooter genre.

Rounding off the Top Ten this week is anime football game Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.

Here is the Steam Top Ten for the week ending November 18th:

1. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
2. Arc Raiders, Embark Studios
3. Anno 117: Pax Romana, Ubisoft
4. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Activision
5. PUBG: Battlegrounds, Krafton
6. Battlefield 6, EA
7. Steam Deck, Valve
8. Dispatch, Adhoc Studios
9. Escape from Tarkov, Battlestate Games
10: Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, Level 5
